Terms of Service

The content here is provided for general information about our water softening and reverse osmosis systems. We work to keep it accurate, but specifications, availability, and pricing can change. Nothing on this site is a binding offer until we provide you a written quote.

Advertised pricing, including our flat whole-home package price, assumes a standard installation in a typical home. If your home needs additional plumbing, electrical, or drainage work, we will tell you before any work begins and you can accept or decline. We do not add charges you have not approved in writing.

Pipe Dream Filtration supplies the equipment and coordinates your project. Installation of the system is performed by independent, licensed and insured subcontractors, not by our employees. Those subcontractors are fully responsible for their own installation work, workmanship, permits, and conduct on your property, and for any issues, damage, or liability arising from that work. They carry their own liability insurance and, where required, workers' compensation coverage.

If an issue arises from the installation, contact us and we will coordinate with the installing subcontractor to get it addressed. To the fullest extent permitted by Ohio law, Pipe Dream Filtration is not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, or damages caused by an independent subcontractor. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have against the subcontractor directly, or any rights that cannot be waived under law.

• Provide safe access to the install location, water shutoff, drain, and power.
• Disclose known plumbing issues, prior leaks, or non-standard piping.
• Maintain the system as directed, including adding salt and replacing filters on schedule.

Equipment carries up to a 5-year manufacturer warranty, with lifetime tech support from us for the life of the system. Manufacturer warranty terms, exclusions, and claim procedures are set by the manufacturer. Installation workmanship is warranted by the installing subcontractor. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, freezing, water pressure or chemistry outside rated limits, unauthorized modification, or missed maintenance.

Payment is due as stated on your quote or invoice. You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled installation by contacting us before the appointment; cancellations made after equipment has been ordered or a crew has been dispatched may incur reasonable costs.

Water treatment results depend on your incoming water, plumbing, and usage. Except as expressly stated, our services and this website are provided without other warranties, to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to equipment we supply will not exceed the amount you paid us for that equipment. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
